The Master Ethics and Society

The   Master Ethics and Society is an interdisciplinary program examining the ethical challenges of our time. The increasing technological, biological, economic, religious and legal complexities of today's society is raising more and more ethical challenges. From a European and global perspective, this MA programme brings together academics from different disciplines in order to produce new insights and progress. The course also relies on an interdisciplinary approach to contemporary issues.

General outline of the Master's degree

The MA Ethics and Society is accredited by the University of Strasbourg and is linked by exchange programmes with many European and North American Universities.

Courses Duration

180 hours a term for 4 term (possibility to adapt to individual needs)

Dates:

  • French Program: September - June  
  • Bilingual Program (French – English): January - December (Courses are offered in English and in French – with additional support in French as a Foreign Language for those with low proficiency)

Entry

  • Students with a Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Those with professional experience that may be recognized as equivalent through the validation of skills.
  • Students enrolled in another Master's Programme who wish to complete their studies with a degree in ethics
  • Professionals wishing to boost their career through further study

NB: Medical students can enrol in the Master at DCEM1 level
